Chinese Protruly shows off a Virtual Reality smartphone.
The Protruly “darling” is supposed the world’s first VR phone. The $600 smartphone will go on sale next month in China equipped with a wide-angle twin lens. A $1,300 version of the VR Phone is diamond and gold encrusted.
The VR Phone is supposed to enable real-time editing on VR images. Protruly, a company with experience in making night vision equipment and video walls, announced the VR Phone on Monday at an event in Shenzhen. The company is also already offering smartphones under the DARL brand outside of China.
The technical specifications of the Protruly Darling VR phone are not clear. The smartphone is able to record 360 video from what we can tell.
