Today is the day that many Daydream View owners will be receiving their headsets, so Google is popping out a lot of new apps to Google Play. We’ve already seen Google and partners release a few funsies yesterday, and now a couple more have surfaced.

For starters, a new Daydream VR app has launched. This app will serve as the central hub for finding and enjoying Daydream-compatible content. It’s pretty straightforward in that it offers up a neat VR-friendly user interface to access content you own and find more at Google Play. It also has a status screen which lets you access settings and shows the time, date, battery life, connection status, and calibration settings.

When not used in VR mode, the app functions as a normal user interface on your phone so you can find all the content you want before strapping it onto your face.

Google also launched the YouTube VR app. Again, self-explanatory: it’s YouTube, in VR. Thankfully it seems Google didn’t pull any punches here with full support for subscriptions, playlists, and watch history.

You’re even getting the ability to view videos while you continue to browse for more to check out after you’re finished. All of it can be enjoyed in a theater setting if you wish, and you can view any video on YouTube whether it’s a standard or 360-degree experience.

Hit the links ahead for the downloads in anticipation of getting your Daydream View headset (unless, of course, you’re lucky enough to already have yours.)
