Digital Geology is an modern method in Subsurface Studying wherein geological outcrops are introduced into the workplace setting and augmented reality methods are used with actual geological displays (rock slabs, cores, fossils) to offer the experience of hands-on reservoir characterization work mixed with digital overlays. 5 geological displays, representing completely different scales of geological evaluation and investigation (starting from “basin” scale to “grain” scale) have been constructed and built-in by means of interactive workouts within the present studying packages in Shell. This video supplies a virtual tour of all 5 Digital Geology Displays at Shell Studying Centre in Rijswijk, the Netherlands.
